President and Chief Executive Officer
Alan Herrick is President and CEO of Sapient and serves on its Board of Directors. Herrick works closely with the Sapient leadership team to set strategy and foster a culture of innovation.
Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Herrick served as Executive Vice President in charge of Sapient North America and Europe. In that role, he headed three of the company's four business units and was responsible for 90 percent of its revenues.
Herrick joined Sapient in 1995, and was instrumental in top- and bottom-line growth for the aforementioned business units, including Sapient's Trading and Risk Management business. He also headed the Energy Service business and helped launch the company's industry groups in 1998. In addition, he led our European business while living in London from 2000 to 2002.
Prior to joining Sapient, Herrick held key management positions at PSE&G, Prudential, and Home Holdings Inc. He earned a bachelor's degree from The University of Rhode Island.

Senior Vice President and North American Lead
Alan Wexler heads strategy, delivery and business development for all of Sapient North America.
Since joining Sapient in 1998, Wexler has held a number of key management positions, including Vice President and Managing Director of Sapient's Technology and Communications Group.
He launched Sapient's Global Wireless Group, and led our Media, Entertainment, and Communication Group in New York.
Prior to joining Sapient, he founded and operated a management and technology-consulting firm. Wexler is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been interviewed and featured in publications such as the Wall Street Journal.
He earned a BS in Computer Science and an MBA from Rider University in New Jersey.

Executive Director, Worldwide Chief Creative Officer - SapientNitro
Gaston has been a driving force in the evolution of the interactive marketing business since co-founding Planning Group International (PGI). Under his leadership, PGI became the largest privately held interactive agency in the United States and was acquired by Sapient in 2006. Throughout his career, Gaston has spearheaded some of the most successful online campaigns in the history of the Internet. He has partnered with clients in industries ranging from financial services and travel and leisure to technology and food service.
He has helped these clients gain unparalleled insights into effectively marketing their products and services in today's increasingly complex marketplace. Gaston continues to provide clients with forward-thinking answers to overcome their critical business challenges.
Senior Vice President and European Lead
Christian Oversohl heads Sapient's business efforts in Europe. Specifically, he focuses on strategic planning, finance, communications and business development.
Oversohl joined Sapient in 2000, following Sapient's merger with the company he founded, The Launch Group. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Managing Director of Sapient Germany and Sapient Netherlands. He has been instrumental in the development and growth of the Sapient footprint on the continent.
Prior to joining Sapient, Oversohl was a manager at A.T. Kearney and also worked with Dicke & Wicharz Management Consulting, BMW, Henkel-Kosmetik, and Dresdner Bank.
Oversohl holds a PhD in Marketing from the University at Essen (Germany) and a degree in Business Administration at Koblenz School of Corporate Management (Germany).

Senior Vice President, Chief Operations and Administrative Officer
Preston Bradford brings deep frontline and operational performance experience to Sapient as our Chief Operations and Administrative Officer. He oversees company operations, and his primary responsibility is to maximize our internal operational performance and cost effectiveness. Currently, he is focused on driving our financial transactional operations to world-class levels.
Since joining Sapient in 1994, Bradford has served in many roles including Chief Information Officer, President of Sapient Canada, Managing Director of Sapient India and Managing Director of Sapient Government Services. He has also established several of Sapient's initial industry groups and was responsible for delivery to high-profile communications and high-tech clients.
Prior to joining Sapient, Bradford held senior sales, marketing and information technology roles during his 14-year tenure with Sprint (currently Sprint Nextel). He earned a bachelor's degree in management science from Duke University.

Senior Vice President, Global CFO; Managing Director - AsiaPacific
Joe Tibbetts oversees all financial operations for Sapient and focuses on global financial strategy and planning. He ensures that all offices practice fiscal responsibility in business dealings, and that we are fully accountable to shareholders, investors and governing bodies.
Tibbetts has over 30 years of experience in finance, primarily working with technology and technology-related services organizations. Prior to joining Sapient, he was Senior Vice President and CFO at the enterprise software and services company, Novell, Inc. Tibbetts has also contributed his financial and technology sector expertise to Charles Rivers Ventures as administrative general partner, and served as Chief Financial Officer at Lightbridge, Inc. and SeaChange International, Inc.
Earlier in his career, at Price Waterhouse LLP (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP), Tibbetts built a 20-year track record of success that included responsibilities as an audit partner and national director of the firm's software services group. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire in business administration.

Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Sapient Global Markets
Chip Register is the Managing Director of Sapient Global Markets and serves on the Leadership Team of Sapient Corporation. In these capacities, he is heavily involved in the ongoing strategic planning, business development, and operational management of the firm.
Prior to joining Sapient, Register built and managed several merchant trading businesses for Louis Dreyfus Energy Services (LDES), one of the largest privately-held commodity traders in the world. Prior to LDES, he managed Essent Energy Trading, the merchant subsidiary of the largest Dutch utility. In both capacities, he partnered with Sapient and chartered the company to play a significant role designing and implementing solutions for the businesses he was building.
Register spent ten years before Essent trading commodities and foreign exchange, and he was instrumental in the development of trading businesses for Weyerhaeuser and CIBC World Markets, while living in Toronto, and the UBS in New York.
Register currently lives in Westport, Connecticut with his wife and daughter.

Managing Director, India
In his role as managing director of Sapient's India operations, Rajdeep drives strategy, capability development, and growth of Sapient's India presence and maintain its status as hub of the company's globally distributed delivery network. In his role as Global Delivery Lead of SapientNitro, Rajdeep is responsible for project execution, capability development, quality, methodology and tools for SapientNitro's services globally.
Rajdeep has been with Sapient for over 10 years, and has played a variety of leadership roles in the company. Before taking on his current delivery leadership responsibility, Rajdeep was the India General Manager of the North American Business Unit, responsible for people and operations.
Rajdeep started his career in 1994, and has held different leadership responsibilities in consulting and IT services. Before joining Sapient, Rajdeep co-founded Orbit-e Consulting, a Warburg Pincus funded technology strategy and services firm.
Rajdeep has done his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and his B.E. in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur.
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Joe LaSala leads the Sapient legal team and oversees all of the legal affairs of the company. His principal areas of focus are compliance and governance, commercial negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and rights management, international legal issues, and providing strategic advice to the management team and the board of directors.
LaSala has over 15 years of experience as a public company general counsel in a broad range of industries, including technology, enterprise computing, media and entertainment, and energy. Immediately prior to joining Sapient, he was Senior Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Discovery Communications, Inc., a global media company, where he was a leader of Discovery's go-public transaction in 2008, and advised management and the board of directors on a variety of strategic, commercial, and corporate matters. He has previously served as general counsel of Novell, Cambridge Technology Partners, and Union Pacific Resources. He serves on the board of directors of Buckeye Partners, L.P., a publicly traded partnership that owns and operates one of the largest independent refined petroleum products pipeline systems in the United States.
LaSala graduated from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America and received his bachelor's degree in Politics from Catholic University. He and his wife, Beth, have two children in college and live in Lincoln, Massachusetts.

Vice President & Managing Director, Sapient Government Services
As head of Sapient Government Services, public sector veteran Teresa Bozzelli is responsible for expanding the scale and scope of Sapient's US Government Services business and positioning Sapient as a strategic partner to US government clients. By leveraging Sapient's marketing, creative, and technology strengths, Bozzelli brings increased value of services to the federal government at a time in which it seeks to transform itself and its relationship to citizens.
As a former chief operating officer at IDC Government Insights and vice president and partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, Bozzelli brings more than 20 years of experience as a thought leader and trusted IT advisor to clients across the US Government, including the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Interior, Department of Energy, National Aeronautic and Space Agency (NASA), Army Environmental Center, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Labor, Office of Management and Budget, Department of Treasury, and Department of Education.
Bozzelli founded Government Insights, an IDC company established to deliver research and advisory services for information technology trends and innovations specific to the public sector. She grew Government Insights to global growth and profitability within three years, and helped dozens of government agencies and public sector vendors to use strategic insights and information technology to improve mission delivery and operations. Prior to IDC, Bozzelli was a vice president and partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she orchestrated business development and government contracts delivery across more than 20 government organizations. Among her accomplishments was the design, development, and implementation of one of the first successful government-wide systems for improved citizen services. Bozzelli began her career with IBM, where she was responsible for software design on NASA's Space Shuttle Support and Mission Control programs.
Bozzelli is a member of Sapient's North America leadership team and works in the company's Arlington, VA office.
Chief Marketing Officer
William (Bill) Kanarick oversees the sales and corporate marketing functions for Sapient across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, including the evolution of the company's brand and its go-to-market strategies and offerings.
Over the past 12 years, Kanarick has held a variety of leadership positions at Sapient, including driving the evolution of Sapient's interactive business and, more recently, leading the acquisition of Nitro Group to form SapientNitro.
Prior to his role leading Sapient's Interactive practice in North America, Kanarick spent six years in Europe, where he helped lead the company's growth in that region from 2000 2006, including its expansion beyond the UK to a significant presence on the continent. Throughout his career, Kanarick has built and grown highly successful businesses in both Europe and North America.
Kanarick's roots are in business strategy, where he has consistently helped clients to build businesses and create sustainable value propositions for their brands. He has regularly served as a key advisor to senior clients on the application of technology to improve customer relationships.
Before joining Sapient, Kanarick was the head of client services at Boston-based Pamet Marketing Technologies and a successful entrepreneur, having started and sold a boutique marketing consultancy in Boston which, in 1994, focused on the application of technology and analytics to drive brand growth.
Bill graduated with a bachelor's degree from Boston University.
Worldwide Head Commerce and Innovation
A 16-year veteran of Sapient, Chris is responsible for Sapient Nitro's global commerce business. In this leadership role, Chris drives the development of Sapient's overall strategy and service offerings in the multi-channel commerce space which includes establishing, relationships with global partners,to enhance Sapient Nitro's evolving offering. Chris also oversees the Content Management & Collaboration Practice which focuses on the creation of systems and process that better leverage content across the ever expanding set of marketing and commerce customer touch points, including mobile, in store experiences, and new devices such as the Ipad. In his role, Chris also oversees our R&D efforts to ensure we have continued focus on bringing the best new ideas and thinking to our clients.
Chris has developed an eCommerce Institute for developing The knowledge and expertise in both commerce business processes and the corresponding technology. He has overseen the creation of an ecommerce lab in India which houses reference applications from multiple vendors and serves as both a training ground and acceleration platform for driving project delivery efficiency.
Chris has held many other key leadership roles in his 16 years at Sapient including SVP of Global Business Development, SVP of Operations for North America, VP of Marketing and Government Services and Healthcare Industry Lead.
Vice President, People Success

Frank Schettino is Vice President of People Success with overall responsibility for the people management and development of all Sapient people globally.
In partnering closely with Sapient's senior leadership, Frank works to ensure Sapient is a great place to work by developing and implementing company-wide people strategies and programs.
Since joining Sapient in 1994, Schettino has held a variety of leadership positions including client executive roles in the automotive, financial services and entertainment industries. He also led the establishment and growth of Sapient's US West Coast presence.
Frank graduated with a bachelor's degree in History from Brown University.
